Journey Add-On

About the project

Add-On developed for the Minecraft Marketplace, adding 5 new dungeons, each with its own creatures and boss, and a final boss that can only be challenged after the other 5 are defeated. Journey was one of the projects selected by Mojang to use the new dimension feature before its release to other creators.

I worked as a Game Designer, creating the attacks and attack patterns of every boss, planning their animations, and giving each one a signature weapon that the player earns upon defeating it. I also designed the Add-On's macro progression, pacing the experience so that each dungeon feels like a meaningful step toward the final confrontation.
